Nash Community College

Pearce Brinkley Cease + Lee is committed to advancing the practice of architecture by setting the standard for sustainable design excellence in the southeast.

Our goal is to design buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work. As active members of the United States Green Building Council, with 17 LEED accredited professionals on staff, we seek to advance the value of responsible sustainable practices in architecture. We achieve this by designing buildings that consider sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, the materials and resources used, and the resultant indoor environmental quality. It is through this stewardship that the following benefits can be successfully obtained for the client and the community in which the project resides.

Economic benefits:

  • Reduce operating costs
  • Enhance asset value and profits
  • Improve employee productivity and satisfaction
  • Optimize life-cycle economic performance

Environmental benefits:

  • Enhance and protect ecosystems and biodiversity
  • Improve air and water quality
  • Reduce solid waste
  • Conserve natural resources

Health and community benefits:

  • Improve air, thermal and acoustic environments
  • Enhance occupant comfort and health
  • Minimize strain on local infrastructure
  • Contribute to overall quality of life
